How do I map a drive in W 10 Pro

To map a drive in Windows 10 Pro, follow these steps:

  1. Click the Start button and select "This PC" or "Computer"
  2. Click the "Map network drive" button in the ribbon menu at the top
  3. In the "Drive" field, select the letter that you want to use for the drive mapping
  4. In the "Folder" field, enter the path to the network location you want to map
  5. Check the "Reconnect at sign-in" box if you want the drive to be mapped automatically every time you sign in
  6. Click the "Finish" button to create the drive mapping

You can also map a network drive using the command prompt. Open the command prompt and type:

net use X: \\server\share /persistent:yes

Replace X: with the drive letter you want to use, and \server\share with the path to the network location. The "/persistent:yes" switch tells Windows to reconnect the drive at sign-in.
